Reporting to the Lead Environmental Inspector, your role will center around documenting compliance, assessing mitigation measures, and communicating effectively with contractors and stakeholders. A robust background in environmental legislation and construction oversight is essential to ensure adherence to project standards. Your collaboration will support sustainable practices in pipeline and infrastructure projects in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections and verify compliance with environmental standards
• Maintain thorough documentation of environmental practices
• Collaborate on mitigation strategies with diverse teams
• Communicate non-compliance issues to management promptly
• Assist in regulatory and internal reporting procedures
Requirements:
• 3-7 years of experience in environmental management
• Relevant diploma or certification in environmental studies
• Completed safety training: Ground Disturbance Level II, etc.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Class 5 driver’s license and availability for travel
