Position Overview

Summer Student Worker

Location: La Ronge, Saskatchewan

The primary objective is to create, promote, and conduct activities which contribute to communities being healthier places to live.

Responsibilities

- Work closely in a mentoring workplace with Family Service and Prevention Service workers.
- Assist the Family Service and Prevention Service workers with various duties including attending meetings, planning sessions, training, and family camps.
- Monitor family visits and transport clients/children in care as well.
- Work independently, and under supervision of the Family Service and Prevention staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Grade 12 Diploma.
- Must be able to provide a recent and satisfactory Criminal Record check, Driver’s Abstract, and Child Abuse Record check.
