Director of Operations – Full‑Time, Permanent (Milton, ON)

Salary: $100,000‑120,000 per year plus bonuses.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Serve as a resource and servant leader, fostering teamwork and performance.
- Interview, hire, train, retain and evaluate management staff.
- Develop and mentor future warehouse and transportation leaders.
- Ensure accuracy of customer orders, shipments, quality standards, inventory, system audits, and general division maintenance.
- Collaborate with transportation supervisors, the Transportation Manager and other department heads to optimize operations, policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain training, equipment and resource plans, executing data‑driven decisions during operational crises.
- Plan and execute production to meet regulatory and SQF requirements.
- Perform any other duties as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role.
- Strong written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.
- Problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Ability to work effectively with others and build appropriate interpersonal relationships.
- Good time‑management and organizational skills.
