- Negotiate, draft and review a variety of large-scale, complex and strategic agreements, including information technology contracts
- Advise internal teams and act as a business partner on legal risks related to complex or strategic contractual matters
- Anticipate business issues and propose cutting-edge legal solutions aligned with the company's objectives
- Issue legal opinions for Beneva and its subsidiaries on complex matters related to operations and strategic objectives
- Contribute to the oversight of external counsel and other professionals on high-stakes contractual matters and projects
- Support the Director in coordinating matters and assigning requests
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and analyze the impact of changes on contractual activities
- Participate in mandates or special projects requiring in-depth contractual expertise
- Act as a contract subject-matter resource and contribute to the team's skills development
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. or equivalent)
- Member of the Barreau du Québec (Quebec Bar)
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant legal experience
- Extensive experience in contract law and contract management
- Knowledge and experience in information technologies
- Proficiency in French,
both spoken and written
- Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Ability to interact with English-speaking colleagues, partners, clients or suppliers
