Internally known as Financial Advisor, Investment and Retirement Planning (FAIR), this financial planner in the retail branch network is a member of the branch sales team responsible for contributing to the team’s overall success by meeting or exceeding negotiated deposit and investment sales goals through effective management of a portfolio of clients.
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth reviews for assigned clients including retirement planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning, utilizing financial planning skills and tools to support their financial goals.
- Discover and solve clients’ needs, delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning.
- Demonstrate self‑motivation and goal‑oriented mindset when identifying clients’ needs to craft personalized financial strategies and solutions.
- Foster strong engagement, educating clients, offering insights, and delivering expert advice.
- Build relationships, focusing on providing a great client experience and growing long‑standing relationships with existing clients.
- Leverage advanced technology tools to enhance client interactions and streamline financial planning processes.
- Focus on achieving targets to ensure a balanced approach to client satisfaction and business growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience in financial planning and investment sales preferred.
- Successfully completed the CIFP/CFP designation or bank‑recognized equivalent.
- Certification as a Mutual Funds Representative in good standing with licensing requirements.

Requirements:
- In addition to French, sufficient knowledge of English is required, as the work involves interacting with groups and individuals located in Toronto and elsewhere.
