and proactively managed. You will:- Execute accurate classification of goods and technology (HTS, ECCN, ITAR).- Prepare and submit export licenses and permits under Canadian and U.S. law.- Manage and maintain Trade Compliance documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.- Conduct third-party screenings, denied party checks, and due diligence.- Lead Trade Compliance training for key functional areas (engineering, logistics, contracts, etc.).- Ensure robust recordkeeping and oversee periodic Trade Compliance self-assessments.- Interface with government agencies (Global Affairs Canada, CBSA, DDTC, BIS) and report issues or investigations.- Support logistics and operations teams with day-to-day Trade Compliance advice and escalation handling.- Continuously track and interpret regulatory updates affecting Trade Compliance and export law.What You Bring to Trade Compliance:- 1-3 years of experience in Trade Compliance, with a strong focus on export regulation and operations.- Proven ability in export classification (ECCN, HTS, ITAR), export license and permit preparation, navigating Canadian EIPA, Controlled Goods Program, and U.S. ITAR/EAR.- Strong communication in verbal and written.- Post-secondary education in international trade, business, commerce, or a related field.Please send your resume in Word format to Maia Slivinschi at A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
