Responsibilities
- Ensure that all safety regulations are followed on the job site at all times.
- Hire specialized subcontractors when necessary and coordinate their work.
- Provide advice to clients and ensure sites are secure.
- Manage work groups, materials, and equipment; inspect the work of employees and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate financial records; obtain building permits and licenses.
- Monitor schedules; calculate costs and materials; prepare bids and other reports.
- Coordinate activities with other project supervisors or managers; resolve work issues to increase productivity.
- Examine blueprints and sketches; request materials and supplies as needed.
- Develop strategies to meet work deadlines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction science, building science, surveying, or safety in construction.
- At least 5 years of construction experience.
- Licenses and bonds are required.
- Robust business and communication skills.
- Courses in project management are beneficial.
- Knowledge of project management software.
Employment Details
- Term: Full-time, permanent position
- Hours: 32 to 44 hours per week (day, evening, weekend; overtime as needed)
- Salary: $35.00 - $49.50 per hour
