As a Security Operations Analyst, your real-world SOC expertise will directly shape how AI detects, investigates, and responds to threats — making enterprise security AI smarter and more effective for everyone.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your schedule and work as much or as little as fits your life.
- Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — alerts, incidents, and investigation workflows — and evaluate how well AI systems handle them
- Classify threat severity, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
- Review AI-generated detection logic and triage workflows for accuracy and real-world alignment
- Validate AI outputs against how security analysts actually work in practice
- Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI reasoning in security contexts
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
- Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows
- Skilled at distinguishing true positives from false positives and noise
- Solid written communication skills — you can explain your reasoning clearly
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis
- Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK; or NIST
- Background in cloud security, endpoint detection, or network analysis
- Prior exposure to AI or data labeling workflows
