You will utilize formal training in Sikh theology and knowledge of scriptures to conduct services and engage with members in Punjabi. Your experience, ideally two years or more, will enable you to lead Kirtan, handle religious ceremonies, and contribute to educational programs. This role is essential for enriching the spiritual life of the congregation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular Sikh religious services
• Read continuously from the Guru Granth Sahib Ji
• Lead Kirtan and Katha teachings
• Oversee Sikh ceremonies like weddings
• Provide spiritual guidance and support to members
Requirements:
• Completion of formal Sikh theological training
• 2+ years as a Granthi or religious leader
• Proficient in Punjabi language
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work diverse hours, including weekends
