Job Description

One of our clients is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a quick-paced industrial manufacturing workplace. This role is responsible for leading a skilled maintenance team, improving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coordinate, and assign daily maintenance activities.
- Supervise and support a skilled maintenance team through coaching, training, and performance development.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and prevent recurring equipment failures.
- Coordinate maintenance work orders, schedules, parts, and outside contractors.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance Planning, and other departments to minimize production interruptions.
- Monitor equipment downtime and implement actions to improve operational performance.
- Promote workplace safety, 5S,



and compliance with applicable health and safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and development of maintenance procedures.
- Ensure effective shift handoffs and maintenance coverage across plant operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Industrial Trade Certification - Millwright ticket is required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in food & beverage manufacturing is required.
- 3+ years of experience in a Lead Hand or Maintenance Supervisor role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Education

Post-secondary education or a diploma/degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is an asset.
