Contribute to the governance of Key First Nation as an Executive Assistant in Norquay. This full-time role offers a chance to support the Chief and Council with critical administration and communication tasks.
The Executive Assistant plays a pivotal role in facilitating communication and governance activities for the Chief and Council. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of administrative experience. Candidates must showcase professionalism and have a deep understanding of First Nation governance and cultural dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and organize schedules for leadership
• Coordinate meetings and prepare essential governance documents
• Maintain communications with community members and external partners




• Ensure proper recording of governance activities
• Support the Council’s strategic initiatives effectively
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 3-5 years of administrative support experience
• Familiarity with First Nation governance frameworks
• Robust judgment and professionalism essential
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
