Manage fuel and facilities operations at Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation with a focus on community service. The role includes oversight of fuel delivery and facility maintenance in Old Crow.
As the Manager of Fuel and Infrastructure, your primary focus will be on ensuring optimal operations of the fuel tank farm and facility maintenance. This involves developing strategic plans, managing teams, and working directly with community leaders to support VGFN’s mission. An extensive background in maintenance operations and leadership will be vital to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead departmental staff and daily operational activities
• Develop routine service schedules for fuel deliveries
• Ensure compliance with financial and operational metrics




• Evaluate and report on service efficiency and effectiveness
• Coordinate emergency management operations as needed
Requirements:
• Relevant certification in engineering or trades
• Experience in fuel or maintenance operations (5+ years)
• Solid background in finance and governance management
• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel
• Experience with Indigenous community engagement preferred
