Overview

Wildwood is currently recruiting for a pool lifeguard for the 2026 summer season.

Duties

- This position is 40 hours per week and includes weekends. Shifts to be set by the General Manager.
- Monitor pool areas continuously to identify potential safety hazards or distressed swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure compliance and safety for all members and guests.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues when necessary.
- Administer first aid or CPR as required, maintaining readiness at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment and surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Complete required documentation related to incident.
- Can be reassigned to other job duties, including grounds maintenance, painting, cleaning, etc.

Job Description

The pool lifeguard will report to both the General Manager (GM) and the Assistant Park Manager (APM).

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications

- Lifeguard certification.
- CPR certification.
- First Aid certification.

Contract length

4 months, May 11 - Sept 7.
