Stantec is seeking motivated Junior and Intermediate Environmental Field Technicians for a project based in Fort McMurray starting in Q4 2026. You will join a multidisciplinary team supporting environmental field investigations and monitoring while ensuring high-quality project delivery. The job involves a two-weeks-in / two-weeks-out rotation, allowing for effective field operations with camp accommodations provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support environmental field investigations and monitoring tasks
• Collect and manage accurate field data documentation
• Assist in soil sampling, drilling,



and site evaluations
• Communicate effectively with engineers and project stakeholders
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies during all operations
Requirements:
• Technical diploma or degree in environmental science
• Less than 3 years of relevant field experience
• Commitment to strong safety culture and practices
• Valid Alberta driver’s license for fly-in/fly-out settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
