Location: 24 Colonnade Road, Ottawa ONSchedule: Daytime, Monday to FridayStarting Salary: $76,000/yearWhat you will be doing…We’re looking for a Bilingual Employee and Labour Relations Advisor to guide managers and employees through complex workplace matters with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.As a key member of our Employee and Labour Relations (ERLR) team, you’ll help ensure that our policies, collective agreements, and legislation are applied consistently and fairly across the organization.What You’ll DoAdvise managers and employees on HR policies, collective agreements, and employment legislation (ESA, Human Rights Code, WSIB / CSPAAT)Support performance management and disciplinary actions to ensure decisions are fair, consistent, and compliantLead and support workplace investigations (harassment, sexual harassment, violence, or other sensitive cases)Assist in the preparation of grievances, arbitration files, and bargaining documentationCollaborate with union representatives to resolve issues early and maintain constructive relationshipsCoordinate medical accommodations, return-to-work, and attendance management processesRespond to inquiries from the Human Rights Tribunal, Ministry of Labour, and other agenciesMaintain case documentation, prepare reports, and support process improvements within the HR departmentYou’re a positive fit if…You bring sound judgment, discretion, and tact to sensitive HR and employee relations mattersYou’re skilled in investigations, conflict resolution, and labour relations in unionized and non-unionized environmentsYou have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and FrenchYou enjoy helping leaders and employees navigate challenging conversations and build better workplacesYour must-haves:Bilingualism (French/English)
