Salary $77,833 to $103,243 YEAR annually (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week

Education

- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Occupational safety and health technology/technician
- Occupational health and industrial hygiene
- or equivalent experience

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years

Responsibilities

- Assign projects to subordinates and staff related to work safety, environmental safety and accident prevention.
- Review HR directives to assure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Train staff
- Inspect spills of hazardous chemicals or products
- Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses
- Develop and implement health and safety plans
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
