Location: Oakville, ON
Position Type: Full Time, On Site (40 hours per week)
Hours: 8:00-4:30 Monday-Friday core hours, with one evening per 6‑week period and one Saturday per 6 weeks for group/workshop availability
Salary: $40.31 – $47.75 per hour (40‑hour work week, OPSEU unionized position)
Contract: Maternity Leave contract 12‑18 months

Position Overview
We are seeking a critical‑thinking and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the delivery of speech and language therapy services in a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with adults with communication challenges, implementing therapy plans and helping clients achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized therapy programs
- Conduct one‑on‑one and/or small group therapy sessions
- Take accurate and clean SOAP notes during the sessions
- Prepare therapy materials and activities tailored to client needs
- Communicate effectively with caregivers regarding progress and home practice strategies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging therapy environment
- Follow all clinical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and professional regulations
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology (or Communication Sciences and Disorders)
- Current registration with College of Audiologists and Speech‑Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Experience working with individuals with communication disorders, adults with developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Expertise in augmentative/assistive communication for nonverbal individuals with autism, feeding and swallowing assessments, IDDSI model familiarity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively within a clinical team
- Organized, reliable, and detail‑oriented
- Passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s license required
