Convergint is seeking experienced Journeyman HVAC/R Technicians to join their Maintenance team at the Suncor Base Plant in Fort McMurray, Alberta. These technicians will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, solid team players, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a rotational FIFO environment.

What You'll Need





- Alberta Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate (or Interprovincial Red Seal)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with clean abstract
- BSO/CSO certification
- Experience with commercial and industrial HVAC systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and access elevated work areas
- Capable of standing, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces for extended periods

What Will Make You Stand Out

- Journeyman Gas "A" certification
- Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform (MEWP), Confined Space Entry, and H2S Alive certifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance, oil sands, or heavy industrial facilities
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC controls
