Accounts Payable Coordinator

Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing all Accounts Payable duties, including verifying and entering invoices and ensuring the timely processing of payments according to vendor terms for the benefit of accurate financial record keeping. Key to this position is maintaining excellent relationships with vendors in keeping with our high standard of service.

Areas of Responsibility

- Processing all vendor invoices for YES TV.
- Support the organization in ensuring a positive relationship with vendors.
- Support the organization in educating co-workers of the necessary documentation and timelines to support the timely payment of vendors.
- Processing credit cards
- Processing bi-monthly payment runs.
- Resolving errors and discrepancies.
- Filing of documentation.
- Maintain programming contracts.
- Maintain and distribute PO’s.
- Set up new event codes.
- Monthly listing of missing invoices to accrue for month end.
- Wire / online payments and setting up templates.
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Completion of post-secondary education or working equivalent.
- 2-3 years working on A/P in an accounting software environment.
- Possess a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work with high-volume cycles and precise deadlines.




- Previous work within a broadcaster is beneficial.
