Our public sector client requires a Back-end Developer to develop applications on both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable back-end applications and services using Java and Spring Boot .
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate services through an API Gateway to support secure and efficient system communication.
- Design and implement event-driven applications and messaging solutions using Apache Kafka .
- Develop business logic, application services, and integration components supporting enterprise applications and systems.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver integrated end-to-end solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application, API,
integration, and messaging issues while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, technical documentation, and CI/CD and DevOps activities following Agile development practices.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience developing enterprise web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Robust understanding of secure coding practices , application performance optimization, and Agile software development methodologies.
