Branch Manager – Stanley Access Technologies, Edmonton, AB
Stanley Access Technologies, an Allegion brand, is a leading manufacturer, installer, and service provider of automatic doors.
Responsibilities
- Foster positive relationships across departments including Field Operations, Sales, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, Engineering, etc.
- Resolve conflicts within the branch and elevate issues to Regional Manager and HR as necessary.
- Act as a model and mentor to associates, upholding business code of conduct and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements.
- Oversee branch personnel operations: performance planning, OSHA logs, payroll, expense reports, worker’s comp claims, hiring, discipline, and termination.
- Ensure required training (AAADM Certification, Boon Edam, BEA, CJ Rush, etc.) and EHS Web training are completed.
- Meet technicians on‑site to verify installations meet AAADM and company policies.
- Coordinate purchase and disposal of fleet vehicles, ensuring policy compliance and claims management.
- Participate in weekly Field Manager’s Call, BI Call, Sales Call, and oversee accurate forecasting.
- Drive productivity projects to completion on time and within budget.
- Manage branch P&L;, fixed and recurring costs, and conduct site visits with technicians and customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; high school diploma required.
- 5+ years of management experience in a construction/service business.
- 5+ years of P&L; ownership.
- Ability to handle multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Creative problem‑solving and a passion for process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and technical understanding of products and programs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics365, Astea, or SmartSheet is a plus.
