Northern Metalic Sales in Dawson Creek is seeking a personable Parts Counter Person with experience in industrial sales & customer service.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Welcome customers to the store & provide assistance with product features & location;
Remain knowledgeable on products offered & discuss available options;
Process POS (point of sale) purchases & returns;
Input sales orders & quotations; maintain & follow up on orders;
Accurately handle cash & account payment processing;
Answer phone inquiries;
Help set up & clean displays as needed, ensuring sufficient stock is available;
Comply with inventory control procedures;
Maintain a clean & organized work station;
Adhere to safety regulations;
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven work experience in industrial parts and customer service;
Basic understanding of sales principles & customer service practices;
Sales-driven with a passion to learn;
Knowledge of industrial products & tools required
General computer skills, proficiency in English, basic math skills;
Friendly & energetic personality with customer service focus;
Accuracy & attention to detail;
Able to perform under pressure & address concerns/complaints in a timely manner;
Effective time management & ability to meet deadlines;
Demonstrate innovation & well-developed problem-solving skills;
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Understanding of customer focused presentation including attitude and dress
Ability to lift up to 50 lb;
