Role Description
We are currently looking for a local, experienced Rescue Technician to join Irwin's to assist with both local and non-local projects. This role will include working as a Confined Space and High Angel Rescue Technician.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Valid Rope and Confined Space Rescue ticket – Trained to a minimum of NFPA 1006 Operations level
Minimum 2 years rescue experience (5 years preferred)
IRATA rope access certification would be considered an asset
Experience in industrial related safety positions, particularly confined space knowledge
Valid Confined space attendant ticket is preferred but training can be provided
Experience with gas detectors is preferred
NCSO and valid First Aid ticket are preferred
Basic computer skills are a must have
Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driver's abstract
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test (including THC)
