We are currently seeking Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join the team of a Transportation company in Mississauga, ON.
Please Note: the dock in this facility is temperature controlled. You must be comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments and wear warm clothes.
Pay: Up to $24.00/hour
Shift: Afternoons, 4:00pm-12:30am Monday-Friday
Responsibilities: Operating an electric Counterbalance forklift to move/load/unload freight, hand-bombing freight, and other duties as required in dry, cooler, and freezer areas of the dock facility.
Qualifications:
Valid Forklift license
Experience Operating the electric Counterbalance forklift
Comfortable with manual lifting 40-50lbs
Able to work in cold temperatures in refrigerated and freezer settings
Able to work Monday to Friday on the afternoon shift
High attention to detail
Must have warm clothes (hats, gloves etc) and wear layers of clothes
Must wear safety shoes and safety vest
