Lotus Kitchen & Bar is a modern Asian fusion restaurant in downtown Halifax. We offer creative Asian cuisine, cocktails, and a lively dining experience with a strong focus on efficient teamwork, guest care, and consistent service.
We are looking for an Experienced Bartender / Server to join our front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident behind the bar, comfortable serving tables, and able to stay organized during a rapid-paced dinner service.
Position: Experienced Bartender / Server
Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests
Take food and beverage orders accurately
Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and stock levels
Recommend menu items and answer guest questions confidently
Monitor tables and maintain smooth service flow
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members
Handle POS transactions accurately
Follow responsible alcohol service and restaurant policies
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of serving or bartending experience preferred
Valid Serve Right certification required
Bartending experience is strongly preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Positive table awareness and attention to detail
Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork mindset
Evening and weekend availability preferred
