Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
Provide menus and assist guests with any questions or concerns
Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen staff
Ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any delays to guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed
Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary
Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
Requirements:
Previous experience as a host/host in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred
Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a rapid-paced environment
Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
