Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) – Overview

We are seeking a reliable Forklift Driver with counterbalance experience to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will safely operate forklifts—including clamp trucks and order pickers—to support inventory movement and warehouse distribution activities. This role requires mechanical knowledge, robust safety awareness, and the ability to perform heavy lifting while maintaining effective workflow and accurate inventory handling through our warehouse management system.

Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts, including counterbalance units, clamp trucks, and order pickers
Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and storage areas with precision
Assist with order picking and ensure accuracy when fulfilling customer orders
Use warehouse management system (WMS) software to track inventory and update records
Perform basic maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
Conduct heavy lifting as required to handle materials safely




Maintain a clean and organized work setting
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational targets

Requirements
Valid forklift operator certification/license with counterbalance experience
Experience operating clamp trucks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment
Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and basic troubleshooting
Experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments preferred
Basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy
Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
Familiarity with WMS for inventory tracking and order picking
Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures
Prior experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting is highly desirable

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
