Job Summary

We are seeking a Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist to manage import/export activities, customs compliance, and related financial documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong customs and logistics experience with some exposure to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), or financial reconciliation.

Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day import/export and customs clearance activities.
Prepare and validate Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Health Certificates, COAs, FDA Prior Notice, and other customs documents.
Coordinate with CBSA, CFIA, Health Canada, FDA, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
Maintain HS Codes and ensure accurate tariff classification, customs valuation, and country of origin.
Monitor tariffs, surtaxes, anti-dumping duties, CUSMA/USMCA, CPTPP,



and other trade requirements.
Support CARM account administration and customs compliance.
Review customs entries, broker invoices, freight invoices, duties, and taxes for accuracy.
Work with Finance/AP to reconcile invoices, investigate discrepancies, and support landed-cost analysis.
Maintain customs records and support audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications
2+ years of experience in customs, import/export, trade compliance, or logistics.
Knowledge of CBSA, CFIA, Health Canada, FDA, HS Classification, Incoterms, and CARM.
Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
Solid Excel and ERP skills.
Basic AP, AR, accounting, or financial reconciliation experience is preferred.
Robust analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
CCS designation or related certification is an asset.

Pay: $44,985.68-$50,000.00 per year
