Electrical Designer

Our client is looking for an Electrical Designer. This is a 1-year contract.

Key Responsibilities:
A lead level Electrical Designer role and lead a squad of designers/drafters
Performed electrical cost estimate and managed design budget
Application of client’s spec, CEC code, IEEE, API, and other technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts to establish designs fundamental of principle drawing, 3D modeling, calculation, costs, and bills of materials
Coordinate design criteria with engineering, tooling, material, and planning group by contractual specifications
Provides solutions for complex problems in the design and cooperate with other disciplines to coordinate the design
Reviewing vendor’s design package to match the design completeness and conformity
Checking the design package for technical quality
Interact with internal and external personnel on matters of moderate importance




Design support and response field RFI in construction

Requirements:
10+ years of design experience in Electrical engineering related to petrochemical, oil, and gas, pipeline, power plant, co-generation, and mining industries
Field experience of construction and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation & control systems
Familiar with PLC system included AB-1771/1756/1734, Honeywell C200 system, Modicon Momentum, and Quantum system, OMNI, and spirit flow computer
Proficient in using AutoCAD, CADWorx, Auto Plant 3D, smart plant 3D, and Electrical Calculation Software

Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour

Experience:
oil and gas electrical design : 10 years (required)
Smart Plant 3D: 2 years (required)
