We are recruiting for an ongoing position for a Mechanical Assembler for our Cambridge client who is one of the world's leading providers of testing, calibration and advisory services
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Mechanical Assembler will be required to build support fixtures for plastic and/or metal automotive parts and components. The successful worker will be proficient in a number of core business skills including, but not limited to, compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Assemble aluminum extrusion using bolts and nuts.
Know how to use shop tools: saws, pliers, hammers, drill, drill press, band saw cutoff saw, wrenches and hex keys.
Lifting up to 60lbs.

Qualifications
2+ years of manufacturing experience
Basic understanding of machining concepts, measuring instruments and dimensional concepts
Working knowledge of machine shop safety protocols
Solid computer skills
