Building Superintendent
Kitchener & Cambridge, Ontario

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Live-In Building Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential apartment buildings in Kitchener and Cambridge, Ontario.

This is an excellent prospect for an organized, customer-focused individual or couple who takes pride in maintaining clean, protected, and well-managed properties.

Responsibilities
Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs
Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks
Clean and maintain common areas, laundry rooms, hallways, and exterior entrances
Conduct regular property inspections and report maintenance issues
Coordinate with contractors and service providers as required
Maintain the grounds, including minor landscaping, weeding, litter pickup, and seasonal upkeep
Assist with garbage and recycling management
Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a skilled and timely manner
Help ensure the property complies with health and safety standards
Support leasing activities, including showing apartments and preparing units for new tenants (an asset)

Qualifications
Previous experience as a building superintendent, maintenance technician, or in a similar role is preferred




Strong handyman skills with the ability to perform minor plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry repairs
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are considered assets

Pay: $34,400.00-$67,342.99 per year
