Responsibilities
Supervise all kitchen staff, including cooks and food prep personnel, to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards and consistency
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness
Implement and enforce food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies
Train new team members through interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to foster a skilled and motivated workforce
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly
Experience
Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment with a focus on kitchen management
Extensive food industry background including food preparation, cooking, and restaurant operations
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a quick-paced setting
Solid understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous
Experience with interviewing potential team members and managing restaurant workflows
