Reporting to the Director of Field Operations in Winnipeg, the Field Operations Support Manager is responsible for providing a wide range of support to the Field Operations Managers to assist in growth and improve supply delivery in new and existing markets through strategic planning and marketing. Success in this role will depend on your ability to develop strong and lasting business partnerships with government, community and industry stakeholders.

Key Priorities include:
Identify and coordinate market opportunities in various regions of resource supply.
Support northern communities in developing supply delivery programs through strategic marketing opportunities.
Assist logistics operations to ensure supply is delivered.
Solid communication ability is essential with fishermen.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with government agencies, community agents, First Nations communities, and plant operations.
Lead special projects to support and grow market regions (e.g. budgeting, forecasting, marketing, and pricing strategies)

Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in business administration or commerce or combination of training and relevant experience.
3 to 5 years of professional management experience, including a strong background in purchasing customer service,



or sales.
Experience with programs such as Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, Power Point, SharePoint.
Comfortable learning other software programs and Aps as needed.
Proven knowledge of financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
Track record of building and maintaining solid business relationships.
Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict with diplomacy and empathy.
Solid personal and skilled ethics.
Willing and able to present and speak in a public or group environment and travel to various remote communities as needed.
