Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers
Provide attentive supervision to ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging curiosity and independence through engaging activities
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about each child's progress, needs, and milestones
Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists as needed
Maintain accurate documentation of children's developmental progress and daily activities
Manage classroom routines efficiently, including feeding, diapering, nap times, and transitions
Skills
Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French or other languages are highly desirable to support diverse families
Robust understanding of childcare principles, early childhood education standards, and child development stages
Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members
Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing classroom activities and guiding School staff
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
Time management skills to ensure smooth daily routines and timely completion of tasks
Writing skills for accurate documentation and reporting on child progress
