Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
Provide product information, demonstrate features, and answer customer inquiries
Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentation
Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing adjustments, and inventory management
Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
Support store management in supervising staff, training new employees, and coordinating team efforts
Participate in marketing initiatives to promote products and store events




Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom
Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities

Experience
Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred
Demonstrated skills in negotiation, merchandising, and POS operations
Supervising or team management experience is advantageous
Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
Familiarity with retail management tasks such as budgeting, payroll, training & development, and bookkeeping is beneficial
Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and interpersonal skills are essential
Prior experience with marketing strategies, interviewing potential staff, or administrative responsibilities will be considered an asset
