Safety Supervisor

This individual will be responsible for managing all safety activities in the Company.

This position involves working in office in an active surface mining setting.

Qualifications & Skills
Accident Investigation
Reporting requirements
Assist in developing and maintaining company policies and procedures
Company liaison to MOL- Canada Agencies and clients
Manage Health & Safety audits-performance reviews-site inspections-customer contract safety requirements

At a minimum this individual will possess 5 years in the same or similar environment. The preferred candidate will also have a fundamental understanding of the Ontario Health & Safety Act and will support the Companies safety culture.

computer skills
communication skills, both written and verbal
bilingual would be an asset




Valid Drivers License is required
