Bear Paw Earthworks is a family owned and operated excavation and civil construction company. We have been serving the Okanagan and Shuswap regions since 1979.

We are looking for a reliable Equipment Operator to join our team.
Equipment Operator Responsibilities:
Responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting pre-operation checks on equipment.
Performing other construction duties as required
Ensuring sites are kept clean and secure.
Attending morning safety meetings
Identifying faults and troubleshooting equipment as required.
Represent Bear Paw Earthworks in qualified manner

Equipment Operator Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience operating heavy equipment.
Residential site prep experience required




Previous experience working around existing underground utilities
Valid class 5 and reliable transportation required
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow orders and work to strict deadlines.
An understanding of health and safety codes.
A positive outlook and a willingness to learn.
Must live in the Northern Okanagan.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
