Detail-oriented and organized Shipping/Receiving Coordinator required for a busy Mississauga warehouse office. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the flow of incoming goods, ensuring that all products are accurately received, inspected, and stored. Robust communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, and the ability to work in a quick-paced environment required for this role.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm
Employment Type: Temporary possibly to Permanent
Responsibilities
Oversee the unloading of incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders.
Utilize warehouse management systems such as to track inventory levels and manage stock.
Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure timely processing of all incoming packages.
Maintain accurate records of received goods, including quantities, conditions, and any discrepancies.
Verify stock availability in ERP system.
Prepare reports as needed
Liaise between Customer Service and Production to ensure shipping deadlines are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner
Complete shipping documentation
Prepare Bill of Lading
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience
Previous experience in similar role
Strong MS Office skills
Experience working on ERP system
Experience working with a pick list
Previous experience in warehouse distribution or a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in using warehouse management software
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately under pressure.
