Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. Charcoal Steakhouse/Martini's has been a leader in the hospitality industry for over 65 years in Waterloo Region. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations while serving drinks.
Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies when necessary.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Address customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner to enhance their experience.

Qualifications




Previous bartending experience is preferred, but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards is essential.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Cash handling experience is necessary to manage transactions accurately.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for effective order processing.
Robust time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods effectively.
A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
