Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful hairstyles and providing exceptional customer service. Duties
Provide skilled hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety and hygiene
Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products and upselling additional services to clients
Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments




Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews
Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education

Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
Knowledge of sanitation standards and practices within a salon environment
Ability to upsell products and services in a professional manner
Robust communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist at the front desk when needed
Retail sales experience is a plus, demonstrating confidence in recommending products to clients

Pay: $16.00-$28.00 per hour
