We are a rapid-paced physiotherapy clinic looking for a part-time receptionist/administrative assistant. Receptionist, administrative, customer service, and/ or medical office assistant experience in a similar business model is required. The ideal candidate would be able to work daytime and evening shifts (until 8:00 p.m.).
Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure the patients are 100% satisfied with their interactions with you
Greet clients and ensure excellent customer service
Manage phone calls and emails in timely fashion
Schedule and confirm appointments with therapists
Clinic and patient billing
Ensure optimal time management of clinic availability
Entry of patient info
Complete and distribute medical forms
Maintain confidential medical records
Liaising with third party (WSIB, private insurance, automobile insurance)
Other clerical/administrative tasks as scanning, filing, photocopying, faxing
Clinic maintenance
Qualifications and Skills
Requirements:
High school diploma required
Experience in similar position
Service oriented
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Able to multitask and work under pressure
Time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Experience using computers (Excel, Outlook and Word) along with the ability to learn new software programs
Key Competencies:
A robust work ethic, demonstrating initiative, coupled with a friendly, outgoing, positive attitude
Customer service orientation and must be able to execute it at a high level (you must love being around people!)
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Highly proactive and possessing problem solving skills
Ability to work independently with no direct supervision at times
Qualified personal presentation
Ability to multi-task
