Job posting: Kitchen Lead

Position Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Prep to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with daily kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food preparation. This is an excellent entry-level prospect for someone passionate about food and eager to grow in a kitchen workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
Merchandise produce in a logical and attractive way to promote sales
Manage and maintain the freshness of produce
Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits
Portion and label ingredients and food items
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Receive and store deliveries properly, logically, and efficiently
Support team front and back with a variety of tasks

Qualifications:




Good observational skills and ability to act based on observations
Robust physical strength and speed
Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not required
Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced workplace and ability to eventually understand the workflow and work with efficiency without instruction
Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Team player with a positive attitude
Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
