The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that all our accommodation units and common spaces are clean and sanitized for when guests arrive. This position reports to the Housekeeping Coordinator and indirectly to the Operations Manager. This position is covering for a maternity leave.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrate strong support to the shared values of Haliburton Forest: safe, collaborative, professional, productive, and proud
Follow legislation and standards of: Workplace Violence and Harassment policies, AODA, Occupational Health and Safety Act
Cleaning accommodation units (making beds, washrooms, dishes, kitchen, etc.)
Washing and folding laundry
Cleaning common spaces (comfort station, main office, etc.)
Deep cleaning in the off seasons
Keeping clean and safe workspaces at all times.
Assisting with Base Camp duties (campsite cleaning, etc.)
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year work experience in the housekeeping industry
Current First aid and CPR would be an asset
Ability to balance competing priorities
Positive,



constructive attitude
Cooperative with good communication skills
Personable
Enjoys a fast-paced busy work environment
G2 or G driver’s licence

SCHEDULE:
full-time/part-time hours available
Weekend work will be required given the nature of the business
Typical work schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but can vary from week to week
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
