Security Guard (North Cowichan)

Concord Security is currently hiring Full-Time and Part time Security Guards to join our team at the Cowichan Community Centre and Cowichan Aquatic Centre.

We are looking for professional, customer-focused individuals to provide a safe and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and community members. This position offers consistent morning and evening shifts, seven days a week, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking steady employment.

Available Shifts
Morning: 7AM – 3PM
Evening: 3PM – 11PM
Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour

What You'll Do
Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the facilities.
Monitor access points and ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and customer concerns professionally.
Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance issues.
Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
Work closely with facility staff, emergency responders, and members of the public.

You're a Excellent Fit If You




Hold a valid BC Security Worker Licence.
Have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills.
Enjoy working with the public and providing outstanding customer service.
Have strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Are reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Are legally eligible to work in Canada.
Are able to pass any required background checks.
Are comfortable walking patrols, standing for extended periods, and working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
