We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, freight handling, and vehicle maintenance, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards. Duties
Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
Transport freight to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and ensure vehicle safety
Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records




Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading cargo
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or damage during transportation activities

Experience
Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a Class 1 license or equivalent certification
Familiarity with forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and freight logistics is highly desirable
Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues effectively
Prior experience in freight transportation or logistics is advantageous
Ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery safely and efficiently
Solid understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation

This position requires a dedicated individual committed to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. Candidates should demonstrate excellent driving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour
