Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Manager in overseeing daily plant operations
Work directly on the production floor alongside teams
Assist with daily plant setup and operational coordination
Manage inbound and outbound logistics including early truck unloading
Maintain workflow efficiency across multiple product lines
Uphold production standards and plant performance
Step into leadership responsibilities and operational decisions as required
Required Experience & Qualifications
5–10+ years of seafood processing or related fish processing experience
Robust understanding of fish species and product lines
Knowledge of vessels, gear, and seafood supply chain logistics
Experience working within a production plant setting
Prior supervisory or assistant management experience preferred
Forklift certification required
Basic computer proficiency
Willingness to learn internal plant software
Compensation & Growth
Starting salary between $70,000 and $90,000 depending on experience. Structured salary progression available for long-term performers. Solid long-term growth potential within plant leadership.
