We are seeking a motivated and dependable Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. Duties
Safely operate light commercial vehicles to deliver freight to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight efficiently, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic automotive repairs, and report any maintenance issues promptly
Manage freight documentation, including delivery logs, manifests, and delivery confirmation records
Coordinate with dispatchers to optimize delivery routes and schedules for maximum efficiency
Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading cargo
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior to ensure safety and professionalism
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Certification in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling preferred
Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
Robust organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation processes
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients
