Advanced Motion & Controls Ltd. is seeking a person to join our warehouse at our headquarters in Barrie. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive attitude, eager individual to join our fast-paced setting.

Your role will include but not limited to the following daily activities:
Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
Loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
Unpack, inspect, sort and route goods to appropriate storage areas
Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
Accurately account for materials through material adjustment submissions.
Perform inventory counts.
All other tasks as delegated by supervisor including warehouse / shop clean up and building maintenance.

Skills, knowledge and work experience required:




Completion of secondary school or equivalency
Experience in a related occupation or as a warehouse worker
Basic computer skills / Document use
Must have basic knowledge of hand tools and easy power tools
Oral communication / Working with others
Forklift experience an asset
