Position Summary: We are looking for a friendly Automotive Parts Advisor to coordinate parts for vehicle service and repair. You will work closely with our service team to provide excellent customer service to our Port City Kia customers. When customers arrive at or call the parts department, you will greet them and determine what parts they need for their service and process payments for purchased items. You will also oversee the inventory, shipping & receiving, and documenting each shipment to ensure inventory numbers are current.
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and respond to questions and requests about parts
Greet customers in-person and determine what parts they need
Coordinate with the service team to ensure parts are available or ordered promptly when needed
Coordinate with sales teams to ensure vehicle accessories are ordered for new and used vehicle deliveries
Receive, unpack, and store parts
Track inventory and input items into the company log to ensure accurate inventory counts
Process payments and returns when necessary
Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED certificate
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Experience working in automotive parts or service preferred
Basic understanding of automotive components and systems
Ability to pass a background check

Saint John, NB E2J 2C7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Work Conditions: In person
Work is performed in person at Port City Kia.
May require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of parts or supplies.
Schedule may include weekdays with occasional weekend or on-call availability depending on operational needs.
