Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Red Seal Electrical Powerline Technician for a full-time, permanent direct hire opportunity supporting electrical utility construction projects across the GTA. This Red Seal Powerline Technician role offers steady year-round work, union representation through IBEW Local 353, competitive hourly pay, benefits, and long-term career advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution systems, including power lines, cables, transformers, and related equipment.
Construct overhead electrical lines by setting and framing poles, stringing conductors, installing equipment, and energizing conductors.
Build underground electrical systems, including installation of ducts and conductors, terminations, and system energization.




Perform utility connections and disconnections while following electrical codes, company procedures, and job site safety requirements.
Safely operate bucket trucks, Radial Boom Derricks, and other heavy-duty utility equipment as required.
Work collaboratively with crew members to complete utility construction and maintenance projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Compensation and Benefits
Pay: Starting at $56.08 per hour.
